Game of Thrones’ Jaime Lannister actor signs up for first TV role since show ended –

Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau hasn't let the grim fate of his character Jaime Lannister scare him away from TV. The controversy over the much-debated final season of Game of Thrones hasn't really even started to simmer yet, but Coster-Waldau is already diving into an all-new TV series (via The Hollywood Reporter). And his new show is very different from Thrones. For starters, there will seemingly be no dragons, no undead armies and no hints of sibling love affairs. Getty Images The Danish actor is joining The Umbrella Academy actor John Magaro, Mozart in the Jungle star Lola Kirke, Superior Donuts veteran Judd Hirsch and Warcraft's Ben Schnetzer in the FX pilot Gone Hollywood. This Disney-produced pilot will also feature a Game of Thrones reunion… but not one fans might want to see! Also starring in Gone Hollywood is Jonathan Pryce, who played the devious High Sparrow in the HBO show. The High Sparrow was one of the Lannister family's most dangerous enemies, having only been killed off when the Great Sept was blown up by Cersei's wildfire. Hopefully, Jonathan Pryce has no hard feelings… HBO Their new pilot ....
