The Game of Thrones Cast to Present at the Emmys – TV Guide

The cast of Game of Thrones might be competing against one another in several categories at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards, but they'll unite as presenters. The Emmys announced their first list of presenters for the telecast, and it includes all of the show's stars who made it onto this year's nominations list: Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Gwendoline Christie, Alfie Allen, and Carice van Houten. Game of Thrones' eighth and final season was its most divisive yet, but the Television Academy still gave the HBO epic a record-breaking 32 nominations, including nods to these ten stars. Some of the show's nominations were more deserved than others, of course, but there's no denying that the series is well positioned across most of the categories at the 2019 Emmys. Looks like the watch isn't quite over just yet for Game of Thrones fans.
