Negan Killed THE WALKING DEAD – Dread Central

The Walking Dead
AMC’s zombie-drama series The Walking Dead has been in a steady decline for years now. And today we have info that tells us that the show was basically put to a slow death by the arrival of none other than Jeffery Dean Morgan’s Negan. Shocking, I know. This update comes to us from BroadbandChoices who literally titles their piece “Negan was the worst thing to happen to The Walking Dead.” Simple. To the point. Anyhow, the info says that while the show’s season average had dropped slightly over the first 6 seasons, the quality of the show “fell off a cliff” with Season 7. Fell off a cliff. That works. Brutally beaten to bloody death with a baseball bat is another way to put it. And, yes, this is the season where Rick and Friends (officially) meet the wrong end of Negan’s barbwire baseball bat. .

You can read more about it HERE. So what do you think? Is Negan responsible for killing The Walking Dead? Let us know in the comments below or over on Facebook,  Twitter, or Instagram!  For the one guy out there that doesn’t know, The Walking Dead is based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and portrays life in the months and years that follow a zombie apocalypse with a group of survivors searching for safety and a secure home. But the pressure each day to stay alive sends many in the group to the deepest depths of human cruelty, and they soon discover that the overwhelming fear of the survivors can be more deadly than the zombies walking among them. At times, the interpersonal conflicts present a greater threat to their continuing survival than the walkers that roam the country. Developed by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Mist) the series originally starred Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, and Michael Rooker.. .
