The sci-fi megahit, which airs on Netflix, has had viewers hooked ever since Will vanished on a gloomy night in the first episode of 2016. Now, three mysterious seasons later, fans might finally be closer to discovering the identity of ‘The American’ - but it comes with the bittersweet knowledge that Stranger Things is ending for good. Fans of the TV phenomenon have been keenly awaiting the fourth instalment after 2019's third season left most of the characters on a cliffhanger. Among many unanswered questions from the last series, super-powered teen Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) was seen moving out of the town of Hawkins, Indiana, with her new family, including Winona Ryder's Joyce.
